A Note to New Readers

Welcome to the Urban Fey universe. Its a place where fairies have become assoicated with everyday, manmade objects like traffic lights, pot holes, and skyscrapers. They are an extention of the fairies in old stories - the house elves that help the shoemaker, the brownies that clean the old woman's house, and the tricksters who trap the unwary in their world for twenty years.

Book One explores the formation of the Urban Court while Book Two follows the Urban Court's journey to recognition by the Nature Fey. It isn't necessary to read Book One in order to understand the story in Book Two. There are also side stories around the website, such as the attempts of the Nature Imps to stop production of the Urban Fey story, explorations of the relationships between the characters, and even tips on maintaining good relations with the Fey.
