The Writer's Musings : I love the movement in this page. We had a segment in Vol 1 that also showed how the Fey and Human worlds intersect. These are among my favorite to date. In other news, twice weekly updates begin this week. As you can see from the announcement at the top, we're going to slow down our update schedule this summer because of travels. I'll be working on tips and history pages for Saturdays. I'm even taking requests so go to the forums and tell me what tips you need or what historical points you'd like discussed. The book is now available through Lulu.com. I'll post more on other buying options as they become available.

The Artist's Observations : Also, this week's pages kind of show where I'm trying to go with this whole "new art style omg!" thing. I basically want it to look like awesome inking+a little watercolor shading. As you can tell from the first panel of this page, acheiving a watercolor look when it's supposed to be nighttime is hard. And as you can tell from the last panel, it's easy for me to go overboard with the inking. The next page came out a bit better, I think. |
